Is Bianco Carrara White Marble Perfect For Kitchen Countertops<\/strong><\/p>\n

Carrara marble countertops are a  dream kitchen countertop material when you are planning to decorate a kitchen remodel. You will find an awesome local company that gave you a great deal on a cabinet\/countertop combo, allowing me to bring my dream to life! There are a few things you should know if you\u00a1\u00afre considering them for your home.<\/p>\n

Most homeowners and restauranteurs have been using Carrara marble for tables and counters for years.<\/p>\n

It\u00a1\u00afs beautiful! The beauty of real marble just can\u00a1\u00aft be replicated. It has a timeless, classic look that is versatile and luxurious.<\/p>\n

\"Carrara<\/p>\n

It is budget-friendly. Although it\u00a1\u00afs more expensive than other stones, it\u00a1\u00afs generally one of the more affordable types of marble out there.<\/p>\n

It\u00a1\u00afs heat-friendly. You can put a hot pot or pan directly on the countertop without worry. That being said, you wouldn\u00a1\u00aft want to put something like that directly on the countertop because it could scratch. Note: although they can technically withstand heat, stone can be subject to heat shock, or cracking, under extreme temperature differences. Because marble sits colder than room temp,  never directly did this for fear of cracking.<\/p>\n

For everyday cleaning, I wipe the counters down with a wet paper towel \u00a8C I don\u00a1\u00aft trust sponges because of potential bacterial contamination. Then, dry with a clean soft kitchen towel.  Water is the universal solvent and does an amazing job for daily clean-up. I clean with soapy water weekly and rinse with water. Fill a plastic spray bottle with water and a tablespoon of dish soap.  Spray onto the counters, and wipe with a wet paper towel.  Dry with a clean soft kitchen towel.  <\/p>\n

There are marble cleaners on the market, but I prefer the most natural alternative to avoid build-up on the surfaces. In the case of marble, simple soap and water are more effective anyway. DO NOT use acidic cleaners with vinegar, orange, lemon, or lime juice, or any other acidic ingredients because it will etch the marble surface. Occasionally I find a stain from tomatoes, oil, or even curry.  I can easily remove stains with a baking soda and water paste that I leave overnight.<\/p>\n
