Luxury Condominium Cuscaden Reserve Granite Tiles Projects | MQ STONE
The 192-unit Cuscaden Reserve, developed by Singapore Local Developments jointly with Hong Kong developers, has been completed. It recently obtained its Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP). The luxury project is now open for viewing by invitation only. MQ STONE is one exclusive provider of natural granite tiles for this luxury residence exterior project, including granite cobblestone, granite swimming pool deck, parking entrance, garden landscaping stone, and lower floor exterior wall cladding parts.

The 28-story tower is raised five stories above ground and was designed by Chan Soo Khian, founding principal and design director of SCDA Architects. Other projects developed by SCDA are The Ladyhill at Ladyhill Road, Lincoln Modern on Lincoln Road, The Boulevard Residence at Cuscaden Walk, and The Marq on Paterson Hill.
Cuscaden Reserve is the second and latest project in Simon Cheong’s Petit Collectibles series. Launched in 2018, Petit Collectibles features predominantly one- and two-bedroom units focused on “flexible functionality.”

This top-level luxury residential project in Singapore uses many Chinese гранит products in outdoor landscaping, such as dark gray granite and black granite, as paving projects in public areas. In the residential swimming pool area, domestically produced Viscon white granite is used, mainly with a burnt surface, and the patterns are presented in a parallel installation manner.

Cuscaden Reserve, located at 8 Cuscaden Road, is on an elevated 61,597 sq ft site. The developers jointly purchased the 99-year leasehold site in a government land tender in April 2018 for $410 million. At a land rate of $2,337 psf per plot ratio (psf ppr), it set a new benchmark price for Singapore’s 99-year leasehold residential development sites.

The design of Cuscaden Reserve is an homage to the Bauhaus movement and seamlessly integrates architecture, landscape, art, and traditional craftsmanship. Its influence is evident throughout the development, from the yoga garden, salt-chlorinated pool, event pavilion, clubhouse lounge, and gym in the common areas to the apartments’ interiors.
The private clubhouse at Cuscaden Reserve provides co-working spaces for those working from home to plug in and work. Facilities include two private work pods for those who need to make video calls and a meeting room. The lounge is also a place for residents to meet friends and relax.
This residential outdoor granite project has also been selected from dozens of types of Chinese granite after multiple material confirmations. The processing surface adopts different processing methods due to the functional differences in other areas. As the exclusive stone provider for this project, MQ STONE has had detailed discussions with our Singaporean clients regarding the delivery of dozens of samples, as well as delving into the stone mining area to understand whether the materials chosen by the client are problematic and any uncontrollable defects that may occur on the processing surfaces. After 35 days, we have finally provided our customers with the most satisfactory Chinese granite products.
