Bookmatched Arabescato Corchia: When Symmetry Helps the Room

Bookmatching does not automatically improve an expressive marble. Arabescato Corchia may create a strong reflected centre, but the same pair can feel crowded when doors, artwork, screens or furniture remove parts of the drawing. I compare a true adjoining-face bookmatch with a flow-matched option using the actual slab sequence. Then I place both on the room elevation at full scale. The decision belongs to the architecture, not to a trend label. A successful wall keeps the stone’s mineral movement legible while joints, light and usable slab boundaries remain honest.
