Basic Mosaic Patterns are a name that was coined in ancient Greece and is derived from the Greek word MOSAIC. The original concept refers to a mosaic-based intricate embellishment. Pebbles, shells, tiles, glass, and other colored inserts are placed to painted designs on the wall or floor. The people who lived in caves used marble to pave the ground as a kind of art to make the floor more durable. On this foundation, the first mosaic was derived and evolved.
