After each use, wipe down the surface. This keeps the surface looking pristine for a longer period of time.
To clean the surface, use mild soap and water. Natural stone cleaners also work well, but they are usually more expensive than a soap and water solution.
There will be no vinegar, lemon, bleach, or window cleaners. It will dull the stone's surface, which has been polished to a high gloss finish.
Re-seal the surface with a natural stone sealer (usually available in a spray bottle at a big box store) at least once a year, depending on usage. * Tip: Pour some water on the top's dry surface and wait about 30 minutes. If a dark mark or ring appears, the sealer is no longer active and must be reapplied. For darker stones, check if the water easily glides on the surface like liquid beads on a waxed surface. If water sits and collects, it's time to re-apply.
