Apple Grey Sandstone is a grey sandstone that is quarried in Pakistan. It has a smooth grey color and is suitable for architectural design. Sandstone is a type of clastic sedimentary rock consisting mainly of medium-sized sand particles and occurring in sediment basins around the world. It consists mainly of medium-sized sand particles and is therefore medium-grained.

Grey Sandstone is responsible for the formation of many of the most important rocks in the history of the Earth, such as limestone, sandstone, and dunes. Sandstone is classified as a conglomerate or breccia, although it may contain finer and coarser material and is still called sandstone. Sandstone, including siltstone and slate, is typically referred to as clay sediment, and rocks of larger grain sizes (including BreCCia and conglomerates) are referred to as rutaceous sediments; collectively, they are called erudite. More precisely, sand is medium-sized sand particles with a grain size of about 1.5 millimeters and Gravel is coarse; mud is fine, and dunes are coarse-to-coarse sand, gravel coarse to fine sand. It can be included with finer material such as sandstone, but not with larger grains of the same size; these are typically referred to as clay sediment and include silicates, slate, or both; or they may not be classified at all.
