Natural stone items are permeable, yet they are also long-lasting when properly cared for and maintained. To prevent staining and etching, we strongly recommend pre-grout sealing the stone, using a non-sanded grout, and post-grout sealing the stone. Use a high-quality impregnating sealer. Only pH-neutral cleaners made specifically for stone should be used on stone surfaces.
