Sealing:

Travertine can be sealed with an invisible penetrating sealer to help with continual cleaning.

Before grouting, an invisible penetrating sealer can be sprayed to make cleanup easier after the grout has been applied.

Cleaning:

Cleaning with hydrochloric acid is not recommended since it can cause pitting on the stone's surface.

Maintenance:

Simply sweep as needed. High-pressure cleaning is effective for travertine. Before pressure washing, a light detergent and water solution can be applied.
