Arabescato Corchia Fireplace: Where the Veins Meet the Opening

A fireplace surround edits a slab more aggressively than a plain wall. The opening removes the middle, the joints divide the remaining pattern and the appliance manual controls where decorative facing can sit. Arabescato Corchia gives the designer strong charcoal movement, quieter white ground and fine mineral lines, but none of those should distract from material compatibility or required clearances. I would build the elevation from the installed appliance outward, then test several slab crops. The selected arrangement must account for panel edges, substrate, attachment, resin or mesh and the way firelight changes the polished surface.
