Stones mined in the area are sold under the same name, but the place of origin is Al Khao San. There are about 20 quarries of this kind of stone here. The annual volumes for the blocks are different. The average annual mining volume is about 500,000 cubic meters. The local area has developed an important processing stone industry. There are many stone processing factories in Verda,, Monforte del Cid, La Romana, Monovar, Pinoso, Elda, and Argonia. Spain cream marble is divided into four types: COTO (regular beige), ZAFRA (red line beige), SP (lightning beige), ZIVAS (watermarked sago)

1. Conventional Beige (COTO)

● Material characteristics: There are rice grain type, white flower type, and other types. The background color ranges from light white to dark black. It has color lines and red lines, and the white background is the best material.

●Classification: EXTRA (special grade), IST (first grade), STANDARD (standard grade) COMMERCIAL (commercial grade)

2. Red line beige (ZAFRA)

● Material characteristics: The background color is slightly golden, plus the yellow lines are evenly distributed, and yellow spots, green spots, and holes sometimes occur.

3. Lightning Beige (SP)

● Material characteristics: The beige bottom has white straight stripes, the material is loose, easy to crack, glass crystals, holes, and yellow spots are easy to appear, and the lines have straight lines and net-like chaotic lines.

4. Watermarked Sago (ZIVAS) mine owner BEMARSA, but the Chinese market is unable to accept the watermarked and red material, and the mine has almost ceased production.
